Installation Note 38567: Deployment of SAS® Web applications or solutions with multiple managed servers might fail

DetailsAboutRate It

If you deploy SAS Web applications or solutions in an environment with multiple managed servers, the deployment of one or more of the applications or solutions might fail with the following error:

[echo]
[echo] .....................................................................................Failed to deploy the application with status failed
[echo] Current Status of your Deployment:
     [echo] Deployment command type: deploy
     [echo] Deployment State : failed
[echo] Deployment Message : weblogic.application.ModuleException: [HTTP:101216]Servlet: "remote" failed to preload on startup in Web application: "SASEntCaseManagement".
[echo] org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'servicePublisher': Invocation of init method failed; nested exception is java.lang.IllegalStateException: No port available. Please explicitly set the port property or use the sas.auto.publish.port system property setting.

To correct this problem, add the following option to the Java command for the managed server in question:

-Dsas.auto.publish.port=port

In this option, port is the HTTP listen port for the managed server.
